Job Description:
The associate scientist will be responsible for the supporting the development of new vaccines and biotherapeutics. Tasks will include:

  • Under the guidance of a principal scientist, develop new analytical methods for vaccines and biotherapeutics, including:
    • HPLC assays, ELISA, cell-based bioassays, QPCR assays and others.
  • Maintaining accurate records of experiments
  • Analyzing data.
  • Operating in a GLP facility following GxP regulations
  • Preparing SOP’s, validation protocols and reports
  • Preparing/presenting project updates as required.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant college diploma, B. Sc and/or M.Sc. with 0-5 years experience.
  • Experience with ELISA development would be considered an asset.
